Research Opportunities

"In January I met an incredible young woman who is overcoming the unthinkable. She is healing herself and building a better future for her son. She is reaching back to all the women who are on their journeys to freedom with tangible solutions for economic empowerment. This week she reached out to our team to see if she could interview her Mother as a part of the same project. As I listened to the two of them, tears just rolled down my face. As her mother began to share, she said, "Thank you so much for this opportunity to speak, I have been silent for 60 years." As the interview concluded, we asked her how she felt speaking her truth. She responded, "A knife has been removed from my heart. The four-year-old me and 60 year old me are joining hands now and we are saving other little girls this has happened to." This project is incredible and I can't wait to share more about it. It's going to have such an impact in bringing awareness to sex trafficking and exploitation. But even bigger than that, the creation process is breaking generational cycles of trauma, repairing families and building legacies.
